  • Perfect Prep machine isn't so perfect!!!

Recently I noticed that my prep machine hasn't been making bottles correctly. After making the bottle I would notice that on 6onz bottle total would be 190ml... which should be 200ml when I make it manually. So I contacted Tommee Tippee on facebook asking this question and someone replied asking if I can make a 6onz bottle without formula and end let them know. Which I did on Sunday and was 165ml shocking.... this should be 180ml water!!! Ever since then I haven't heard back despite several messages in facebook.. they have time to post on facebook however not to reply to messages.... More...

  • numbers on bottles

I have brought 3pk coloured bottles for my son and well what can I say. You charge £15 in tescos for these bottles and the numbers just rub of. So now when I make my sons bottles I am having to guess where the amount should be because I will not be willing to pay for anymore. I would not recommend tommie tippee to anyone unless this problem for all us parents are resolved and that you make these bottles so they don't have the numbers rub of. More...

  • Tommee Tippee Faulty Perfect Prep Machine

NOT HAPPY! Saved up to buy a Perfect Prep Machine and triedit for the first time today and it wont work. When you buy the machine first thing you do is put it through a cleaning cycle. This involves filling the hopeer with 1ltr of boiling water then pressing a button on the side which starts flushing the boiling water through the system. When I press this button it will not illuminate the symbol on the front and nothing happens. ive tried the normal hold the button for longer, switch it off and try again but nothing. I decided to phone Tommee Tippee customer help line..I was told there... More...

  • Breastmilk Storage Bags a Joke!!

Tomee Tippee is an awful company I advise everyone to steer clear of them!! Here is my story. In August I purchased a box of Tommee Tippee Breastmilk Storage Bags. To make clear this is my 3rd baby I have breastfed so I am by NO MEANS a newbie at this. With this box of bags each one I opened ripped down the side, it dd not matter how slowly or gently you opened the bag, they would shred down the side. The few that I got to use, as I defrosted them each one has leaked wasting the milk. I contacted the company and was promised that they would replace the box of bags. They said they would... More...

  • Closer to Nature Digital Monitor with mattress mat

I bought this monitor at the end of 2011 for my son, as he co slept for 6 months I didn't use it until he moved into his cot. After using this monitor for 15 months the temperature display on the base monitor has broken and now only shows half of the temperature. Also, the parent monitor cuts out when my son starts crying if the volume is above level two. I attempted to return the monitor to the store who will not assist me because they only offer a guarantee for the first year. I am very disappointed at how long this monitor has lasted, I would expect to be able to use this for future... More...

  • 0-3 month dummy

I bought a dummy for my son when he was 8 weeks old, I decided to give it him one night to soothe him, only to find an hour later that he had spat out the dummy & had been leaning on the handle, this then bruised his cheek with the shape. Since that me & the mother are under investigation from the police & our poor boy has had to go through so many tests, thank you tommy tippie. Big warning to anyone who wants to buy their soothers, be very careful if your baby is like ours & spits the dummy out. More...

  • Tommee Tippee Explora Snack N Go

The ad says: the easy-access soft lid is specially designed for little hands to push through, yet it stops snacks falling out even when it%u2019s tipped up. Perfect for healthy snacks on the go. What it does not say is that the lid is so loosely on, that it comes off every time the pot falls on the floor or the kid shakes it a bit and the snacks fly all over the place. Also my 1,5 year old daughter can take it off by herself. I cannot understand why the lid is not screw-on? I'm very disappointed because otherwise the idea of this pot is super. More...

  • Baby Bottles

My daughter requested these bottles on her baby registry after reading great reviews. She breast feeds my granddaughter who is now close to three months. My daughter has returned to work and I bottle feed the breast milk. I'm not a happy "Nana". The nipple on this bottle collapses and the baby ends up with soaked bib. The milk drips out of her mouth while she sucks. She is using the newborn bottles. Also it is hard to feed her while traveling in her car seat. The baby needs to laying completely flat to be able to consume all the milk in the bottle. In the car seat... More...

  • Tommee Tipee soft tip spoons

As a midwife myself, and a mother of four children, I have always been satisfied with products from Tommee Tipee, until now. The soft tip spoons that you are currently selling are advertised as suitable for weening, although excellent in theory, the spoons themselves are not a sealed unit, therefore food can gather within the plastic thus creating a serious problem with hygeine. As babies are particularly susceptible to upset stomachs, this issue clearly needs to be adresesed before any serious gastrointestinal disorders are reported. More...

  • tommee tippee faulty equipment

I've have both a digital monitor and electric steriliser that didn't last. Bought all tommee tippee products for my first child. Used steriliser for 6 months for first baby, stored and then only used for few weeks for second baby and it stopped working ( of course now out of warranty) but basically only worked for 7 months. Also problem with monitor, the base is not working so only works with batteries. These are the kind of products that should last they weren't cheap. Very disappointed and will not recommend this brand to my friends. More...

  • Leaking- a bad choice

I bought the Tommee Tippee Easy drink cup for my son so as to encourage him to suck the water up through the soft plastic straw and hold onto his cup by himself. I chose this cup over the Heinz baby sippee cups which was a big mistake as I now swear by them. This cup is only 4 weeks old and it leaks all over the place. My son takes a drink and water pours out of the sides and puts him off drinking out of it. He is 11 months old and no matter how I screw this lid on, it has a stream of water that pours out when tipped up. It also has a very soft spout and my son has often choked when he has... More...

  • Not worth the money

Im not the type of person who complains on a regular basis. I have a 9 week old son and I have purchased over 12 of these bottles. About 4 newborn and 8 of the regular sized bottles. I've paid about $7.50 per bottle from babies are us. My son from day one was choking on him milk because the holes in the nipples were too big. The seal around the nipple as well isn't very good, my son was soaked because of the milk dripping down his chin!! I tried to return the bottles that were still in the boxes and was told "no". It's not the money that's the issue it's... More...

  • unsatisfied with bottles!!

Whilst I was pregnant I was told that Tommee Tippee were excellent and that they were well worth the money. On this advice I went out and bought seven bottles. However, from day one I had nothing but bother with them! My son would take very little of his food before falling asleep and then waking up shortly after very hungry and very distressed. This was due to the teat hole being so tiny he couldn't even get milk out. I then replaced all the teats, which although are better for him came rather costly for both me and my partners mother who had to do then same. Also putting the hot... More...

  • Digital Monitor

I purchased the crystal clear sure sound monitor approx two years ago and it was replaced within the year due to a fault. Now once again I am finding that the monitor is alarming for no fault of my baby, it is not using battery power, just output power, I have re set the monitor but it hasn't helped, and i cannot submit a form to the company itself as it won't allow me too!!! I now lie in Ireland and therefore will have to make a call costing me more money to see if they wil yet again replace a product not fit for purpose!!!! More...

  • steriliser burnt

I brought a tomme tippee electic steriliser and the plate at the bottom that heats the water looks like it is burnt or rusted, i have tried countless times to scrub it and its not doing anything! I'm really disappointed with the product and quite frankly more than a little bit worried about it affecting the bottles which then affects my daughter. I have stopped using the product and having to use a microwave steriliser which only does one bottle at a time which is a huge inconvienience. More...

  • Tommee Tippee

I have just started to bottle feed breast milk to my 6 week old in preparation for returning to work, and I tried the Tommee Tippee bottles as they were advertised as being "closer to nature." But looks can be deceiving. The nipple easily inverted, which caused a lot of "dribble" mess throughout the feeding. The flow was WAY too fast, which caused a lot of tummy aches for my little boy each feeding. And I found that the bottles leak at the collar quite often, causing yet another mess each feeding. I was very disappointed with this product and will never buy a Tommee... More...

  • Tommee Tippee Baby bottle cap

I have not heard of suffocation warnings caused by baby bottle caps. Who would've thought it not safe to play with those 'not-so-small' things, right? But it happens and it did happen to my 7-month baby boy. He was playing with the cap of his Closer to Nature baby bottle and sucked on it. The diameter of the cap covers the area of his nose and mouth and when he sucked on it, it stuck much as a suction cup would. My baby could not get it off and was starting to suffocate. Fortunately no harm came to him as I watch him as closely as I can. More...

  • New Tommee Tippee Tip It Up Cup

Having used the old fashioned Tommee Tippee Anyway Up Cups with my older child 10 years ago, I bought two of these cups with Dura-spout Lip-touch technology for my new baby. They look lovely in bright colours, are a nice shape for bay to hold, and the valves seem to work very well. However, they are nearly impossible to assemble! Once you have sterilised the silicone spout piece, you then have to handle it to try to push it into the cap ring. Its a very fiddly and time consuming operation, and by the end of it there is no way the parts are still sterile. Given that it is sold for use... More...

  • tommee tippee electric sterilizer

I am the mother of two very premature twins i bought this item when they got out of hospital and i have since had to bring four of these sterilizers back to the shop. The light goes out and it stops working after about two minutes the longest i got one working for was for two weeks. I can't being to tell you how extremely dissappointed i am with this product never mind the fact that it could be very harmful to my babies health. This product should be taken of the shelves immediately and i would advise people NEVER to buy this item Tommee Tippee have alot to answer for!!!!! More...

I bought 6 Vari Flow teats ( x ( cross) slits in the teat for vaiety flow) and 3 weeks later the teats all started tearing in the x-incisions! The x- on the teats are so torn now that ALL of the milk runs out when you hold the bottle upside down! It got worse everyday and now weve have just packed it waay. We dont wash our teats in any rough manner, and my son isn't even teething yet, so he doesn't bite them that way. The incisions aren't sealed properly in the slits and therefor runs like stockings! It looks terrible!! I want new teats!!!!!!! They are very expensive! And im... More...

  • Overall products

I bought a complete range of tommee tippee products. The electric sterilisers light stop working so I did not no when it had finished, I had to keep timing it. The electric pumps suction was not great, so I thought my milk was reducing. I told my health visitor the problem I was having and that I was considering putting him on formula because of it. She told me to try a different brand pump before i stop breastfeeding. When I tried a medela pump I got 6 oz in an hour but with the tommee tippee pump I only got 1 oz in over an hour. So I'm not at all pleased with the pump as I... More...
